Rise of a Relentless Rock Force
The band Cascavell was initiated by a young Johnny (guitar) alongside his younger brother, Lizz Kick (drums). The original core was completed by Yago, who became the band’s powerful frontman.
The years 2021 and 2022 served as the band's "lab years." While they played very few gigs (once or twice a year), their weekly rehearsals led to the creation of a vast, unreleased repertoire of songs.
In 2023, the lineup expanded with the addition of Leo (guitar and backing vocal), who contributed to composing and crafting new riffs.
2024 marked the band's "rebirth" and a turning point. Luana joined as the bass woman and backing vocal, completing the current lineup. They increased their gig schedule and recorded the singles "No More Lonely Nights" and "Bring Back (Our Love)" with producer Gustavo Scaranelo. A live rendition of "Bad Romance" caught the attention of renowned producer Luís "Granja" Venturin, a crucial contact for the band's future.
Kicking off 2025 with a full gig agenda, the band started recording with Granja at ALV Studios in March. What began as a plan to record only "Bad Romance" resulted in three additional new singles: "New Years Eve," "Set Fire," and "Gimme Speed (Can't Stop)."
With a ravenous spirit, this "powerful monster" is on the rise, aiming to play bigger gigs and prove that Rock'n'Roll is far from dead.
